An observational quantity of special interest is the mass function, (see Table 1, column 6). The observables on the left side of this equation are the orbital period Porb and the half-amplitude of the velocity curve of the secondary . On the right, the quantity of greatest interest is , the mass of the BH primary (given in column 7); the other parameters are the orbital inclination angle and the mass ratio , where is the mass of the secondary.
